Senior Manager Insolvency and Advisory


£60,000-£75,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a range of restructuring and insolvency cases, from initial appointment through to closure.
  • Lead day-to-day case management, including investigations, asset realisations, statutory reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients in financial distress, including options analysis and contingency planning.
  • Supervise and support junior staff, ensuring efficient case progression and technical accuracy.
  • Liaise with creditors, solicitors, banks, and other stakeholders to ensure effective case outcomes.
  • Support business development initiatives, including networking, pitch preparation, and proposal writing.
  • Contribute to internal process improvements and help shape the future direction of the restructuring team.

The Background:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) or insolvency professional (JIEB/ICAEW Certificate in Insolvency) with experience in restructuring and insolvency.
  • Solid technical knowledge of insolvency legislation, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience managing corporate insolvency cases such as administrations, CVLs, and MVLs.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to assess risk and deliver pragmatic, value-driven solutions.
  • A proactive team leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
