Role Overview

As part of an ambitious and growing team, you will provide expert support to partners and directors, ensuring the successful supervision and management of restructuring and recovery processes from planning through to completion.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Insolvency Cases: Oversee a portfolio of insolvency cases, ensuring they are efficiently and proactively advanced.

  • Advisory & Business Reviews: Contribute to independent business reviews, option assessments, and accelerated sales processes.

  • Team Leadership: Motivate and brief staff to ensure timely and high-quality case completion. Review and constructively comment on staff performance.

  • Client & Stakeholder Relations: Engage with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and exceeded. Identify opportunities for additional services.

  • Review & Compliance: Ensure all statutory documents comply with insolvency regulations. Prepare case reviews for partner briefings.

  • Business Development: Attend marketing events, grow a personal network, and identify new business opportunities.

  • Operational Efficiency: Manage work-in-progress (WIP) and debtor accounts for each client.


Key Skills & Experience

  • Insolvency Expertise: Extensive experience in corporate insolvency (administration, liquidation) and advisory assignments.

  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of insolvency legislation and statutory requirements.

  • Organisational Ability: Skilled at managing multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Team Development: Proven ability to supervise and develop staff, providing on-the-job learning opportunities.


Qualifications

  • Professional Certification: Qualified accountant and/or JIEB qualification preferred.
