Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery and progression of a varied contentious caseload. This includes developing and implementing asset recovery strategies, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring that cases progress efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements. A solid background in corporate or personal insolvency is essential, and any previous exposure to investigative or contentious matters is highly beneficial—though not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support across a portfolio of contentious insolvency cases.
  • Work closely with senior staff to help shape and follow case strategy.
  • Take responsibility for day-to-day case administration, including statutory and non-statutory documentation.
  • Prepare professional written and email correspondence and manage incoming enquiries.
  • Monitor case progression and deadlines (including IPS updates) to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Delegate tasks where appropriate and offer guidance to Insolvency Administrators within the team.
  • Conduct open-source investigations and assist in developing asset recovery strategies under supervision.
  • Liaise with legal teams and external advisors to support litigation and other contentious activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as an Insolvency Administrator (corporate or personal).
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Relevant insolvency or professional qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
