Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Insolvency Cashier to join their insolvency team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of insolvency cases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to a growing and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage receipts and payments for insolvency cases.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile bank accounts and client ledgers.
- Prepare and submit statutory returns and reports.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and accounts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including banks, creditors, and clients.
- Provide support to the insolvency practitioners and the wider team as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience using IPS cloud
- Previous experience in a similar cashier or accounting role, preferably within insolvency.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of insolvency procedures and regulations is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
