Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Insolvency Cashier to join their insolvency team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of insolvency cases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to a growing and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage receipts and payments for insolvency cases.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and client ledgers.
  • Prepare and submit statutory returns and reports.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including banks, creditors, and clients.
  • Provide support to the insolvency practitioners and the wider team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience using IPS cloud
  • Previous experience in a similar cashier or accounting role, preferably within insolvency.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of insolvency procedures and regulations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
