Senior Administrator to Assistant Manager

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from start to finish, supporting the leadership team and mentoring junior staff. You’ll be involved in all aspects of case management, including client communication, statutory compliance, investigations, asset realisation and creditor reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, including CVLs, MVLs, and Administrations
  • Oversee day-to-day case progression, ensuring statutory deadlines are met and quality standards maintained
  • Draft reports, correspondence, and statutory documents to a high standard
  • Liaise with directors, creditors, agents, and other stakeholders in a professional and timely manner
  • Support and guide junior team members, providing training and supervision as needed
  • Assist in identifying case strategy and recovery opportunities
  • Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal procedures

The Background:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate insolvency
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK insolvency procedures and relevant legislation
  • Progress toward or completion of the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) or similar qualifications preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workloads
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work, with a commitment to high professional standards
  • Experience supervising junior team members is an advantage (for Assistant Manager applicants)
