Operations Manger
We are currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join the our clients team. You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operational management of the firm, ensuring all case work, compliance, systems and support functions run efficiently. Whilst ensuring the firm is fully complaint with regulatory requirements and best practices, alongside reporting to: Company Directors and IP’s

OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Suggest, develop and lead strategies with the Board allowing the firm to reach its target growth EBITDA  over the next 3 years.
• Review all supply chain contracts and outgoings with a view to operationally leading commercial discussions with suppliers for improved terms and better financial performance for the business.
• All software/systems maintenance, agreements, updates.
• Working directly with the Directors and IP’s of the firm, develop processes and policies to driving continuous improvement.
• Work with senior leadership team to work and define firms objectives and cultures.
• Oversee case deadlines and work load allocation, ensuring maximum efficiency.
• Work with outsourced HR, IT and marketing providers.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and accuracy.
• Monitor risk and develop control measures to mitigate compliance issues including compliance with annual and general AML regime.
• Drive adoption of new technologies. Specifically, operationally and commercially the implementation of AI and ongoing improvement of sales and compliance via the firms Google Ads (PPC) and SEO sales campaigns.
• Marketing events/ conferences organisation & merchandise.

FINANCIAL RESPOSIBILITIES
• Contribute to resource planning and budget allocation.
• Report on operational performance to include monthly work in progress reports and cashflow / billing reports.
• Assist with annual preparation and delivery
• Cashflow forecast firm wide.
• WIP reporting
• Organisation of staff events

COMPLIANCE AND HR
• Put in place appropriate training and development for staff.
• New starter packs & set up.
• Leaver removal from systems and HR
• Employee contracts, issue of, other sensitive HR matters.
• Annual AML work.
• Policy and procedure improvement. Consider existing HR driven policies and wider firm general policies with a view to driving ongoing progression and development of these.
• Liaise with head of compliance concerning ongoing internal review risks and findings from case related spot checks. Key Performance Indicators: Case progression, reduction in compliance issues, increased value of WIP.

Key Skills Desirable:
• 7+ years within the insolvency or finance sectors, preferably at management level.
• Thorough understanding of insolvency processes and statutory requirements.
• Strong organisational skills & problem solving
• Commercial awareness
• Proactive and ability to drive change.
