Insolvency Partner:

Our client is presently searching for a dynamic, thought leader to join the firm as a partner, within the Insolvency and Restructuring team. The firm national with a robust regional offering, across both Manchester and Leeds and they are looking to grow in both firms. The client themselves are dynamic, covering many disciplines including but not limited to Insolvency, Creditor advisory, debt advisory, and special situations At present there are opportunities across all the above disciplines and in the regional centers. 

Our client is looking to attract the following candidate profile:

• 10-15 years of demonstrable experience within Insolvency and Restructuring, with at least 8 years of experience at Associate Director/Director level.
• The ideal candidate would have experience in delivering a mixed portfolio of projects, delegating effectively to their teams, whilst mentoring colleagues and ensuring quality assurance.
• Daily duties would include stakeholder engagement, team management and compliance as and risk.
• Projects would include running Administrations, IBR’s, Company Voluntary Arrangements, Insolvency Appointments, Insolvency and implementation of cash flow strategies to ensure continuity of business for firms in distress.
• Knowledge areas would include deep knowledge of the Corporate Governance and Insolvency Act 2020, Insolvency and Restructuring best practices, Risk Mitigation and Management Strategies
• Required professional qualifications/registration including ACA/ACCA, JIEB and CPI or equivalent experience are required
• Extensive experience of delivering case strategy for formal insolvency proceedings.

Additionally, we welcome candidates with exceptional negotiation skills, a focus on compliance and risk management. There is a distinct desire for individuals with a broad background in creditor-side, advisory mandates.
