Our client is a highly regarded restructuring and insolvency practice with ambitious growth plans and an excellent reputation in the market. As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a talented and motivated Insolvency Assistant Manager to join their London team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Insolvency Administrator or Assistant Manager seeking greater responsibility, increased client exposure and a clear pathway for career progression within a supportive and dynamic environment.
The Role
Responsibilities will typically include:
- Managing a varied portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from appointment through to closure
- Supporting and overseeing case progression and statutory compliance
- Drafting and reviewing reports, correspondence and other case documentation
- Managing stakeholder communications, including creditors, directors and solicitors
- Conducting investigations into company affairs and director conduct
- Assisting with asset realisations and loan book collections
- Liaising with legal advisors, agents and other external professionals
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team
- Managing work allocation and reviewing casework completed by Administrators
- Attending client and stakeholder meetings where required
- Supporting senior management with business development and networking opportunities
- Taking ownership of cases and exercising commercial judgement in decision-making
About You
- Minimum of 4-6 years' experience within Corporate Insolvency
- Strong technical knowledge of insolvency legislation and procedures
- Experience managing a portfolio of insolvency cases with limited supervision
- Previous experience reviewing and supervising junior staff is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- CPI qualification desirable but not essential
- Ambitious, proactive and committed to delivering high-quality client service
