Salary: £80,000

Stonebridge is delighted to be partnered with a global management consultancy who are experts in solving problems for businesses who are going through financial change. They are seeking an intelligent and diligent Senior Associate to sit in their Turnaround & Restructuring practice where they will provide strategic advice to companies’ boards and investors. With ambitious growth aspirations this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is entrepreneurially minded and wants to progress their career in the Operational Turnaround and Corporate Restructuring market.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: The assimilation of complex information to provide pragmatic and clear advice to clients
  • Financial Modelling: Production of detailed 13-week cash flow forecasts, 3 statement excel models and subsequent analysis (including cashflow sensitivity analysis, financial baselining and forecast reviews)
  • Diagnostic and Planning: Undertaking market analysis to understand the challenges faced by clients and translating findings into cost reduction, operational transformation and working capital improvements
  • Scenario Planning: Generation of consensual and non-consensual turnaround and restructuring options
  • Overall responsibility for discrete deliverables within a project with limited oversight from other team members
  • Direct roles for developing meaningful relationships with clients and the wider Firm

 

Requirements:

  • A strong academic track record, preferably with undergraduate degree or equivalent in a STEM related field
  • Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical skills grounded in a financial qualification (CFA, ACA, ACCA etc)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (i.e., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with a specific focus on excel
  • Experience of data visualisation tools (i.e. Tableau or Microsoft IB) would be beneficial
  • A quick learner with a strong work ethic, capable of working at pace and performing in an unstructured environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proven experience of advising multiple stakeholders including C-suite
  • Clear understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications
  • Gained experience in investment banking, restructuring or relevant industry experience
  • Powerful interpersonal skills and high level of emotional intelligence
