Admin/Senior Insolvency Administrator

Do you have experience in the Insolvency sector?

Our client, one of the UK’s largest specialists in Corporate Restructuring, Recovery and Insolvency, are currently recruiting for an Insolvency administrator/Senior.

This role is perfect for a candidate who has anything from 9 months experience of insolvency and is looking to work for one of the market leading insolvency firms within the UK. You will receive comprehensive on the job training where there will be potential to increase your responsibilities so that the work is even more varied.

Key Responsibilities will include;

• Planning and organising: to ensure all client work is carried out within the appropriate timescales through continual monitoring of case progression.

• Teamwork: working as a team with the other managers, directors and staff to ensure the department as a whole meets its objectives and all client demands are exceeded.

• Problem solving: Knowledge to resolve technical issues and organisation to resolve client and director demands.

• Customer focus: ensuring clients expectations are exceeded, by providing a first-class service at all times.

• Analytical skills – to assess financial and other information to assist clients in understanding their affairs and needs; to identify opportunities to enhance value for stakeholders.

• Understanding the insolvency act and appreciate key commercial aspects of insolvency companies.

• Provide regular progress reports to the manager including preparation of six-monthly case reviews.

• Be able to work on several different assignments at one time.

• Drafting all routine case correspondence.

• Analytical review of information to facilitate case strategy or to fulfil reporting requirements.

• Dealing with creditor telephone enquiries.


• No less than 9 months experience within Insolvency

• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

• Experience in the professional services industry such as : Accountancy, Legal or Business

• ACA/ACCA or CPI/ICAEW Certificate in Insolvency Qualification essential

• Studying towards or considering JIEB desirable but not essential

• Proven ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team

• Experienced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook and time management system
