Restructuring to Investment Senior Associate (Spanish Speaking)

Key Responsibilities

Works flexibly as a member of the team in the office to deliver the following:

-                      Support Capital Managing Directors and the European Capital Team on efficient structuring, analysis and execution of Capital deals based on a cross-divisional and end-to-end approach to maximise deal profits with a focus on the Spanish Market.

-                      Team player working in Capital team with close relationships to all other business units, e.g. Retail and C&I in particular

-                      Support the analysis and execution of deal transactions including efficient due diligence on prospective capital investments, conducting market research and competitive assessments, assessing investment risks, conducting company valuations, etc.

-                      In addition, various ad-hoc reports would be required to support the monitoring of deal progress and scenario modelling.

-                      Report write-up, providing background details to the bid due diligence process and building a case for the bid for submission to Investment Committee.

-                      Undertaking research on prospective clients to enable the business development team to approach new clients with an informed view of their business.

-                      Develop and maintain relationships with people both internal colleagues and external client companies to ensure full understanding of business issues.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

-                      Knowledge of Microsoft office package as an advanced user of all applications (in particular, Word, Excel, Power Point).

-                      Strong verbal and written communication skills.

-                      Ability to handle tight deadlines and work under pressure.

-                      Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

-                      Self-motivated with the ability and willingness to manage multiple projects with a close attention to detail.

-                      Strong drive for results, bias for action with superior analytical and time management skills.

-                      Willing to travel periodically.

Education & Experience

• ACCA/ ACA qualified or equivalent
• Significant (3-5 years) prior working experience in restructuring either in a professional services firm
• Knowledge and experience working on key insolvency and restructuring projects.
• Must be a Spanish and English speaker (knowledge of Spanish or other European languages would be a plus).
