Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing various complex insolvency cases, including administrations, CVLs, MVLs, and restructurings.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for case progression, ensuring compliance with UK insolvency regulations.
  • Engaging with creditors, stakeholders, and clients, providing clear communication and expert advice.
  • Managing and mentoring a team of insolvency professionals, ensuring high-quality work and supporting career development.
  • Monitoring case budgets, timelines, and performance metrics to achieve efficient outcomes.
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities for business development and client engagement.
  • Supporting the regional leadership team in driving growth and innovation within the Manchester office.

Candidate Requirements

  • Significant experience in insolvency management, with a proven record of delivering successful outcomes in complex cases.
  • Professional qualifications such as JIEB, ACA, or ACCA are essential.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK insolvency legislation and procedures.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a commercial mindset.
  • Clear and confident communication skills to handle sensitive situations and engage with stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to business development and maintaining client relationships.
